About the class
Join us for a transformative wānanga where we journey into the realms of four elemental Atua Wāhine, Māori goddesses who embody the forces of nature, creation, and ancestral wisdom. Through the ancient art of storytelling, we will explore their whakapapa (lineage), their pūrākau (sacred narratives), and uncover the kura huna (hidden teachings) woven within their stories.
Each Atua Wāhine offers a unique portal into aspects of ourselves—our strength, intuition, resilience, and connection to te taiao (the natural world).
In this wānanga we will:
Delve into the pūrākau of four elemental Atua Wāhine
Reflect on their relevance to our lives through guided journaling
Engage in open wānanga (discussion) to share insights and perspectives
Participate in an embodiment journey to intergrate and honour their teachings
This is an invitation to deepen your relationship with the Atua Wāhine and learn about the big beautiful world of te ao Māori (the Māori worldview)
Please bring a journal and pen, an open heart, and a willingness to journey inward.
All welcome!
